Yup, we have another low maintenance pet. We took the girls to PetCo last Saturday - just to visit with the dogs up for adoption. Lo and behold, PetCo was having a "build your own Betta kit" special. We'd always thought it would be neat to have one and since they're presumably low maintenance, what was the harm? The girls even got to decorate his fishbowl (that pink blob by his tail is puffy paint).
And so, Oski Blue came home with us. Daddy Dude and I wanted Oski (Go Bears!) but the kids wanted to name him "Little Blue" or "Big Blue". So, we compromised. Oski Blue looks pretty comfortable in his new home and we are happy to have him. =)
