Woohoo, it's a GIU blog hop!

Hello and welcome! It's time for another Unity blog hop with the other GIU peeps from March and April! Most likely, you came from Tenia's blog and after my post, you'll head on over to Kathryn's blog.

I'm a scrapbooker first and foremost, so I opted to make a layout for each of my high school daughters (you know how it is, you can't play favorites!). I thought it was a good time to see how their faces have changed over the years and goodness knows, we still have plenty of school photos to use.

My crafty friends from the CropChocolate.com days will chuckle when they recognize the now-vintage "Playground" collection from Echo Park - you really can't go wrong with a classic, though, can you? Here is the sketch that I chose, for its many little "photos".

Since Marika is two years younger than Mika, I started with her preschool picture and added an extra freshman soccer photo.

In total, I used twelve different Unity stamp kits on both of these layouts (only a few varied between). For Marika's layout, I used Learning {Year by Year}, Follow You Around Globe, Class Act Owl, No Matter What the Weather {Smak 9/13} or (Tiny Number Tags), Good Luck Pencil, Well, Check You Out, Keeping It Together, Smile, Smile, Smile, Struggle is Part of It, and Hastag Kit.

Look at those pudgy little cheeks on Mika!

For Mika's layout, I used Learning {Year by Year}, Follow You Around Globe, Class Act Owl, No Matter What the Weather {Smak 9/13} or Tiny Number Tags, Good Luck Pencil, Well, Check You Out, Keeping It Together, Ordinary Life, Hastag Kit, and Now and Then {Smak 5/12}.

Thank you for visiting my blog and don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to be selected for a prize pack during next week's random drawing! Your next stop is Kathryn's blog. Here's the entire list of participants and their blogs, just in case you want to be crazy and visit everyone out of order:

P.S. I can't leave without posting a picture of my girls on their first/last day of the 2019-2020 school year. It really amazes me how much kids can change over time! Marika ran upstairs to put some mascara on but Mika was headed out the door for athlete training and didn't bother to change. Then again, who gets dolled up for their day if they're just going to be distance learning with their camera off???

Hope everyone takes care and stays healthy! Happy crafting!
