It's hard to believe it's already July! Where has the summer gone? One thing I know for sure - it's time for another challenge from Craft Lovin' Challenge Blog! We had a fantastic turnout for the last challenge but now it's time for another one. For the first two weeks of July, your challenge is to design something around the theme of "Independence Day". The sky's the limit! Don't forget to visit each of the design team blogs and leave a comment, because there will be at least one prize given to a commentor! You can visit CLCB here. And yes, of course there will be a prize winner for entrants! One lucky person will win a free digi pack from Tabitha's Designs (you can visit her shop here).
My layout above uses the adorable designs of Tabitha's Designs July 4th Paper Pack.
Once again, I printed these designs on 4x6 photo paper (from Walgreens) and I love how the colors *pop*! This layout is based on sketch #8 from 2 Broke Girls Challenge Blog.
And what's the story behind the layout? Every year, my girls love to get the patriotic shirts from Target. They - like me - were born and raised in the good ol' U.S. of A and we know nothing different. We may look Asian on the outside, but inside, we're full-blooded Americans! :)
Happy July 4th, everybody! And to those of you who serve or have served, or have loved ones who serve/have served - thank you for your service and dedication to our country!
Ok, you can go start crafting now! Remember, you have until JULY 12th to get your entries posted at the Craft Lovin' Challenge Blog!
