At long last... our one and only ladybug emerged from his pupal case (left) this evening. I cannot tell you what a huge relief it was - and how gratifying to have Marika run over and gasp in awe, "Wow..." This may sound silly, but I was seriously beginning to wonder if she was going to start doubting me as an entomologist!We will release our newest friend tomorrow... weather permitting...
It's been a busy past two weeks, despite DaddyDude being home on vacation ("use it or lose it") this week. Marika's been able to spend some quality time with him... here they are playing "Rock Band"... so funny!
