Wow, what a dreary week! It's been raining for most of it - all of the girls' soccer practices were cancelled and even my game was cancelled last night (fields were too wet). It was a pretty uneventful week, although I was struck by a couple of things while helping out in the girls' classroom - that there are second graders who still cannot read well (sounding out words is a serious difficulty) and I met a kindergartener who told me (without embarrassment) that she never says the word "please" in her house. These kinds of things really depressed me.
I've mentioned Paper Trey Ink in my blog before - the store has some amazing templates for cool gift packaging (I used one last Christmas). I have my eye on some dies that I want, but that's a topic for another day. I've been following PTI's blog and came across a tutorial for an awesome mini album. Truly, I think the result looks very polished and professional.
