Aye batter!

Sundays are usually baseball days for S. He never got to play Little League when he was little, so this is kind of a dream come true for him, having a regular league to play hard ball in. It's fun for the rest of the family to go, because there are other kids for the girls to play with and I get to experiment with my camera - all the while watching S. in action!

As a sidenote, you'll notice that the hills behind the ballpark are black. Apparently, somebody set them on fire a few weeks ago. It's amazing to see what vegetation has remained and how quickly some of it is recovering and growing again!
