Speed bump - FWF #6

Hi, everybody! Happy Friday! I'm at my wit's end, even though the renovation is about two weeks away (I thought it was two weeks away LAST week). I'm completely sick of people being here all the time and everything being such a mess. I no longer have any idea where anything is - and to top everything off, now I'm coming down with a cold (= speed bump). With some luck, though... I hope to battle it off within a couple of days... nobody likes being sick, right? NO!!! :)

 I chose another CAS sketch this week, from CAS(E) this sketch (#109)...

I did decide to move the sentiment from above the image to below it, just because it didn't "feel right" being above it. This Unity stamp set, Beau-tea-ful Friend, is on sale this weekend, too - they've just released a ton of new "pun" stamps. Love 'em!!!

So...I'm still without a kitchen, so these two recipes were "saved" from before the kitchen was shut down - Spicy Cashew Chicken over a different fried rice recipe from Rasamalaysia (than the one I tried a few weeks ago). Both dishes were quite tasty - the best compliment probably came from my older daughter (11) who commented after we went out to eat Thai food last week, "Mommy, their fried rice didn't taste ANYTHING like yours! I didn't like theirs!" 

I tell you, being without a kitchen and eating homemade food is driving me nuts. The first one to complain was Marika (9), who wailed, "I'm so tired of eating out, Mommy!" I was stunned - who ever hears of a little kid complaining about eating out, right? Hubby seems to be the only one who doesn't seem to mind...
