Spring is in the air!

It's been a busy couple of days here... funny how things work out that way... but I thought it was time to post some pictures of the girls' recent activities. It seems that spring is in the air...

We feel exceptionally fortunate that our children are so happy. They can dance when there's no music - anywhere, anytime! Here they are, outside of the local Barnes & Nibbles (what Marika calls it)... happy as two clams can be...

Marika and I decided it was time to start riding our bikes again, so we went to go visit Baby (the horse who lives on one end of our neighborhood). He seemed delighted to see Marika - although in all fairness, I did give her four carrots to feed him... =)

The funniest thing, though, was watching Marika SCREECH her brakes, hop off her bike, and pick something off the ground. "A ROLLYPOLLY, MOMMY! A ROLLYPOLLY!" What entomologist mom wouldn't be thrilled to hear that? She ended up finding 3-4 of them and they all rode home in the empty carrot bag... to be deposited into her trusty bug jar at home...

And today, apparently, was Spring Fashion Day. Notice the unique assemblage of clothing! Marika was showing off her outfit to Daisy (the guinea pig).

And last but not least... the girls absolutely loved the spring hats I bought for them at Dollar Tree. They seem to go well-enough with the matching ladybug dresses I made them... =)
