Our local B&N began to have a storytime geared towards toddlers & preschoolers, so Marika and I went to check it out. It was great! The storyteller was good and there was only one other little girl there, so they got to color and play a matching game. All books read were by Eric Carle and did you know? Apparently, it's the 40th anniversary of The Hungry Caterpillar!
There's my cutie! They have a cute little stage in the store, don't they?
On another note, Marika has gotten quite skilled at handling Daisy. She definitely has a magical touch with animals and other little critters. Dogs, especially, love to kiss her face! I trust Marika not to drop Daisy, which really is no small feat. Daisy seems to like her quite a bit, too.
